In part I of our Christmas guide we brought you 4 creative ways to thank your customers this Christmas. Whether you treat them to a meal out, send them a thoughtful gift or help them to learn something new, part I showed us that there are plenty of ways to wow your customers and make them feel really valued at this special time of year.
If you’re looking for even more ways to thank your clients this Christmas, read on. In part II of this post we bring you 4 more creative strategies designed to truly wow your clients and make them feel really appreciated.
1. Send a treat
If you know your clients well then you will know their likes and dislikes. For instance, if one customer in particular is a health guru, why not send over a fruit basket? A client with a sweet tooth will definitely appreciate a box of cookies, while most women will be grateful for a beautiful bouquet of flowers! There are plenty of thoughtful, personalised gift ideas available that your clients are guaranteed to love.
2. Treat a far-away customer to a coffee
Out of the country for a few days? Meet up for a special coffee date in a client’s city. Whenever you travel, find out if customers that live in that area will be around, and offer to buy them a coffee. This is a great way to check in with a customer and spend some quality time with them, and will leave a very positive impression on your client for many months to come.
3. Begin a loyalty scheme
Have you got some particularly loyal customers? If so, invite them to join your loyalty scheme. It doesn’t need to be complicated. Whether you offer a free service after 6 appointments or an annual discount on their birthday, it’s up to you. What matters is that you are going out of your way to make your customers truly feel as if they are a part of your business in a very special way.
4. Reward your social media followers
Finally, use social media to reward your followers. Whether you make a special announcement or offer a unique, social-media exclusive promotion, it’s up to you. You could even use the platform as a place to engage with your customers and answer their questions and queries.
Another way to make your customers feel valued through social media is to create a rewards system. For instance, every time they contribute ideas to your Facebook page or provide positive feedback, in return they receive loyalty points to be used in future.
As you can see there are endless ways to reward your customers this Christmas and make them feel a special bond with your brand. How will you be rewarding your clients this Christmas? Leave a comment on our Facebook page and let us know how!
